Stan Prueitt, owner of the T-Rex 6x6, has been an avid off-roader for many years. When Dodge introduced their T-Rex Concept vehicle in 1997, Stan was ready and willing to slap down the money to purchase one. Then in 1999 when the Germans took over the Chrysler Corporation, they axed the program. That is when Stan decided to build his own Dodge 6x6 T-Rex. He stared designs in 1998 and finished in 1999. He bought a stock standard cab DODGE V-10 3/4 ton truck, and then started looking for parts to modify this average truck into an ultimate off-road vehicle.

He found military axles from a company called MST (Military Surplus Trucks). In discussions with MST (which later became know as USA6X6.com) A joint effort was formed. USA6x6, and Godwin Fabrication had the parts and fabrication skills to build a most ultimate suspension system, bumpers, and roll cage. This truck has ended up being one of the most capable off-road vehicles I have ever seen.
